Affiliate Disclosure

This page explains how LGPD Brazil handles affiliate links, referral commissions, sponsored relationships, and other material commercial connections.

Last updated: August 19, 2026

LGPD Brazil may publish links to third-party products, software, services, books, training, platforms, or other resources. Some of those links may be affiliate or referral links that can generate compensation for LGPD Brazil.

Plain-language disclosure: if you purchase something through an affiliate link on LGPD Brazil, we may receive a commission or other compensation. Unless the offer says otherwise, this does not increase the price you pay.

1. What Is an Affiliate Link?

An affiliate link is a tracked link that may allow a third-party merchant, retailer, marketplace, or affiliate network to identify that a visitor was referred by LGPD Brazil.

If the visitor completes a qualifying action, such as purchasing a product or service, LGPD Brazil may receive a commission, referral fee, or other compensation from the third party.

2. How We Disclose Affiliate Relationships

This page provides a general site-wide explanation of our affiliate practices. When a specific article, comparison, review, recommendation, email, landing page, or other piece of content contains a material affiliate relationship, we aim to provide a clear disclosure where readers are likely to see it in connection with the recommendation or link.

A link being clickable, a “Buy” button, or the technical presence of affiliate tracking is not treated by us as a substitute for a plain-language disclosure when a disclosure is appropriate.

EXAMPLE Affiliate disclosure

“We may earn a commission if you purchase through links on this page.”

EXAMPLE More direct link disclosure

“Paid link” or another clear statement may be placed close to a compensated link where appropriate.

3. Not Every Link Is an Affiliate Link

LGPD Brazil may link to official Brazilian government sources, the ANPD, legislation, regulatory guidance, research, documentation, software providers, news sources, or other resources without receiving any compensation.

You should not assume that every external link is compensated. Where a material commercial relationship exists and disclosure is appropriate, we aim to identify it clearly.

4. Recommendations and Editorial Independence

Compensation may influence which commercial resources we choose to evaluate or make available, but it does not authorize us to make false, misleading, or unsupported claims.

We aim to distinguish educational analysis from advertising and to describe material limitations that are relevant to a recommendation. Users should still conduct their own evaluation before purchasing or relying on any third-party product or service.

5. Reviews, Comparisons, and Testimonials

When LGPD Brazil publishes a review or comparison involving a material commercial relationship, we aim to disclose that relationship clearly.

We do not intend to present fabricated reviews, undisclosed paid endorsements, or manipulated testimonials as independent consumer experience. Any testimonial or endorsement used on our own product pages should reflect a genuine experience and be presented in a way that is not misleading.

6. Sponsored Content, Free Access, and Other Benefits

A material connection can involve more than a cash affiliate commission. If LGPD Brazil receives sponsorship, free product access, a complimentary license, travel, services, discounts, gifts, or another benefit that could reasonably affect how readers evaluate a recommendation, we may disclose that relationship in the relevant content.

7. Affiliate Networks and Platforms

Affiliate relationships may be administered directly by a merchant or through third-party networks and commerce platforms. Those third parties may use referral identifiers, cookies, transaction records, or other technologies to attribute a qualifying purchase or action.

Their tracking and privacy practices are governed by their own policies. Our Privacy Policy explains how LGPD Brazil describes third-party technologies used on this website.

8. ClickBank

LGPD Brazil may participate in the ClickBank ecosystem as a seller and may also use ClickBank or other networks in connection with affiliate marketing.

Where LGPD Brazil promotes a third-party product through a compensated ClickBank affiliate link, the material affiliate relationship should be disclosed in connection with that promotion.

Separately, where ClickBank acts as the retailer or checkout provider for an LGPD Brazil product, that commercial relationship does not mean ClickBank authored, reviewed, endorsed, approved, or certified LGPD Brazil's educational content unless ClickBank expressly states otherwise.

9. Price to the Customer

In the ordinary affiliate model, a commission is paid by the merchant, retailer, or affiliate network and does not create a separate fee charged by LGPD Brazil to the customer. However, prices, discounts, currencies, taxes, and offer terms are controlled by the relevant seller or checkout and can change.

Always review the price and terms shown on the final checkout page before purchasing.

10. Your Purchasing Decisions

An affiliate link is not a guarantee that a product or service is suitable for you. Product features, pricing, privacy practices, security, availability, and terms can change over time.

You are responsible for evaluating third-party products and services before purchasing, including reviewing the provider's current terms, privacy information, refund policy, security information, and other material conditions relevant to your use.

11. Affiliate Tracking and Privacy

Some affiliate programs use referral parameters, cookies, or similar technologies to attribute sales. If affiliate tracking technology is implemented directly on lgpdbrazil.com, our privacy and cookie disclosures should reflect the actual technology in use.

We do not intend to state that a tracking technology is present unless it is actually implemented.

12. Questions About a Commercial Relationship

If you are unsure whether a particular LGPD Brazil link, review, or recommendation involves a commercial relationship, contact us at support@lgpdbrazil.com or through our Contact page.

Publishing note: this Affiliate Disclosure should not be used as the only disclosure for future compensated recommendations. When a material connection exists, a short, clear disclosure should also appear in the relevant content where users can reasonably notice it before or near the recommendation or affiliate link.
